Collector Development Executive

Avant Arte, London (Feb 2022 - Jan 2023)

  • Engaged with Avant Arte's Japan-based collectors, built an active client book, and worked on all aspects of Japanese customer-facing functions.

  • The Japanese local communication channel I founded from scratch gained over 200 followers in three weeks. I also sent monthly marketing emails in Japanese to over 2,000 people and did my best to build a global client base.

  • With a dedication to both connoisseurship and investment, a valuable understanding of the art ecosystem, and meaningful connections with art world stakeholders, I assisted my clients in developing art collections that suit their needs and contribute to their wealth.

  • Worked closely with the Marketing team on communications targeted for Europe and Japan.

  • Committed myself fully to the release of the artist's live painting event and the editions based on the artwork painted at the event. My contribution ranged from translating press releases about the event to contacting media representatives and writing the actual articles. In turn, I gained more than 1,000 new collectors from the Japanese market. As a result, the proportion of collectors from Japan reached one-third of all buyers of this edition.
